• A first rate account of Scott's Antarctic expeditions. I have read other works by Diana Preston so I knew it wouldn't be too bad, but this is really excellent. Not too long, not too short and with just about the right level of detail. Very well researched. It's a fascinating story but when it's well recounted it's even better. So I give top marks to the author for this one. The edition is excellent value for money too. Can highly recommend.
