Love the pictures in this version of Little Red Riding Hood. My 2 year old loves the "scary wolf!" It is written in simple French but is a little bit too long for my toddler's attention span. It is blunt and ends more abruptly than any English version I have read - no happy endings here, just the lesson not to trust strangers and to be aware of your surroundings. We kind of appreciate that, though.

This is a bad way of writing to turn off even a mature reader. what do you want me to write?
My son loved this full educational story and the illustrations in pastel colors. In my case I liked this authentic version of the story written by Perrault which is far to be mushy.
